What is relationship counseling?

In relationship counseling, two or more parties work with a licensed therapist to resolve repeated issues and difficulties in an effort to significantly improve the relationship and better manage conflict.

How does relationship counseling work?

In the course of relationship counseling, you and the other member(s) of your relationship will meet with your therapist (usually once a week) to discuss the issue(s) you are looking to resolve. Your therapist will get to know each of you and work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs and comfort level, and together you will monitor the progress on your plan between sessions.

During your sessions, we’ll get to know each of you and develop a personalized treatment plan that suits your comfort level and goals for therapy. We encourage you to work on the insights or suggestions that arise out of your therapy in between sessions, and together we’ll monitor progress on your plan to ensure your journey to a better mind and life is successful.
